House Health Care Reform Bill Passes!
The House of Representatives' health care reform bill passed tonight by a vote of 220 to 215. The vote concluded at about 11:15 p.m. Thirty-nine Democrats voted against the bill; it appears that the entire Indiana Democratic delegation voted for it, however. (Blue Indiana has statements from several of them here.)One Republican, Joseph Cao of Louisiana, voted for the bill. You can read initial press reports of the passage from Kaiser Health News here.
