Yes We Can Tippecanoe Meets with Bayh Staff

Last Tuesday five YWCT members (Mia Lewis, Susan Rowe, Liz Solberg, Jan Wheater-Cowen and Judy Weitzman) met with Andrew Homan, a staffer in Senator Evan Bayh’s Indianapolis office. The group expressed its support for the public option, and indicated that 1,000+ members of Yes We Can Tippecanoe wanted to see the Senator spend some political capital on this crucially important issue, and lead the Senate moderates to support for a strong reform bill that includes a public insurance option.
