President Appears on 5 Sunday Talk Shows to Promote Health Care Reform

It was a media feat no one had attempted before--to appear on five network political programs on the same Sunday morning. (He hit everyone except Fox.) To George Stephanopoulos he conceded that that he had not presented his health care proposals in a way that allowed people to put “their whole arms around it.”

“And that’s been a case where I have been humbled, and I just keep on trying harder. Because I — I really think it’s the right thing to do for the country.”
