Senate Votes Thursday at 7 A.M.

Republicans relented somewhat on insisting on all the time allotted for debate, allowing the historic Senate vote on health care reform to take place at 7 a.m. tomorrow--Christmas Eve. It had been expected in the early evening. The Senate and even the White House will empty soon afterwards for the holiday break. (President Obama deferred his vacation until after the Senate finishes the vote.) Up next--more perilous adventures as teh Conference committee attempts to reconcile the House and Senate bills. Stay tuned!

You can read USA Today coverage of the Senate endgame here.
