Forum: Voices of Reason for Health Care Reform

The goal of this forum is to bring the facts to light in an atmosphere of diversity and respect. Come hear the panelists, with their varied expertise, address these and related issues:

Where does the United States stand compared to other industrialized nations with regard to...money spent on healthcare?...infant mortality rate?...bankruptcies due to medical expenses?...life expectancy?...preventable death rate? Which health care proposal being debated is most likely to provide low-cost health care to the most people? Who are the uninsured and underinsured in Indiana?

Join in, asking questions and giving your input.

The program will be on Thursday October 22 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College, in Ivy Hall Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

Panelists include:
  • James G. Anderson, Ph.D. Purdue University Professor of Medical Sociology; Professor of Health Communication; Fellow, American College of Medical Informatics
  • Julia Vaughn, Health Policy Consultant with Citizens Action Coalition of Indiana, member of the Steering Committee of Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan
