Sen. Baucus May Draft Legislation

According to the Washington Post, Democratic Senator Max Baucus and chair of the Senate Finance Committee gave his colleagues on the committee till Tuesday reach an agreement a bill or else he will "propose a bill based on the finance panel's extensive policy work over the past two months." Baucus said the committee will meet face-to-face Tuesday to determine "how to best pass real reform." He added, "I am committed to getting health care reform done -- done soon and done right."
